Temp Technology have been actively involved in the Combined Heat and Power (CHP) market since 1991 when,
in association with ENER.G Combined Power of Manchester, they were responsible for the installation of the first small-scale
CHP plant in Ireland in the Burlington and Berkeley Court Hotels.

The company’s activities, having been established in 1986, were until then largely concentrated on the Energy Management Systems’ field, having developed it’s own system, the “Fuel-Miser”, in-house.

Since 1991, Temp Technology has continued to develop the market for CHP within both the commercial and industrial sectors, involving extensive contact with the utilities and public bodies, and will have over 130 CHP units installed by end 2010. Temp Technology is by far the leading supplier of CHP within the Irish market. The company has continued to manufacture and install computerised Energy Management Systems for commercial and industrial concerns and has over 200 BEMS installations nation-wide.

Repeat business has accounted for a number of recent CHP contracts. These have included both the four Brennan Hotels, Clonmel Park, Bettystown Court, Green Isle & Springhill Court respectively, the Office of Public Works (Leinster House, Kilmainham, Dublin) and HSE West (Merlin Park Hospital, Portiuncula Hospital). We have also installed a CHP/Absorption Chiller project in Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork.

Temp Technology is responsible for the complete turnkey management of CHP and BEMS projects, from design through to commissioning of plant and after sales service. Temp Technology has an established service centre in both Dublin and Limerick with fully trained and experienced service engineers on call nation-wide.
